It's definitely spring now!

Fresh tree leaves and bluebells signal Spring has arrived on the moor
I love to see woodland bursting into fresh green growth, it's something about the contrasts between green and dark tree trunks that inspire me. All the better if set off by a carpet of bluebells - they are starting to bloom on the moorland woods now, and should be reaching their peak in a week or so.

The bluebells were just getting going when I took this a week ago, but the weather conditions (rain since you ask) meant shutter speeds were low inside the trees. Instead of a straight shot of the trees I tried panning the camera downwards on a slow shutter speed, to give intentional movement to the image. The leaves have a dream-like, soft -focus effect but the contrast between the dark trunks and the vibrant green leaves remain. I know not everyone will like this approach but as an abstract vision of spring it works for me.
